Award Ceremony Held for the Competition Bringing Together Photographers from Around the World
The award ceremony of the International Güler Ertan Photography Competition, organized as part of the 27th International Istanbul Büyükçekmece Culture and Art Festival, was held.
Organized in cooperation with Büyükçekmece Municipality and the Büyükçekmece Photography Association (BÜFOD), the competition received 2,469 entries from 687 photographers representing 43 countries. The award-winning works were presented to art lovers, and plaques of appreciation were presented to the jury members who contributed to the competition.

The International Güler Ertan Photography Competition, which aims to increase the interest of amateur and professional photographers in the art of photography and to contribute to the development and promotion of photography, once again brought together the works of artists from different countries in Büyükçekmece this year. The award ceremony became an important gathering contributing to the international promotion of the art of photography. The jury members of the competition were Prof. Dr. Bekir Tuğcu, Prof. Emre İkizler, Burak Şenbak, Mehmet Kılıçoğlu, Vladimir Jovanovski, Prof. Dr. Güler Ertan and Hürriyet Akın. Acting Mayor of Büyükçekmece Hakan Çebi and H. Gürhan Ozanoğlu, Co-President of FIDAF and Vice Chairman of the Festival Committee, presented plaques to the jury members in recognition of their contributions to the competition.
