Young People from 62 Countries Captivated by the Beauty of the Bosphorus
As part of the 27th International Istanbul Büyükçekmece Culture and Art Festival, organized in cooperation with the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and Büyükçekmece Municipality, 650 culture and art ambassadors from 62 countries visiting Istanbul embarked on an unforgettable journey across the unique blue waters of the Bosphorus.
The festival's traditional Bosphorus tour once again featured colourful scenes and joyful moments this year. Beginning at Eminönü Pier, culture and art ambassadors from all around the world admired Istanbul's unique historical heritage and the breathtaking scenery of the Bosphorus along the cultural bridge stretching from Asia to Europe.
A Breeze of Art, Friendship and Culture on the Bosphorus
Culture and art ambassadors from different countries enjoyed a journey filled with art and culture against the magnificent backdrop of the Bosphorus. Impressed by the historic waterfront mansions, bridges and the spectacular scenery stretching along both shores of the Bosphorus, the guests immortalized these special moments with photographs. Throughout the tour, where the festival atmosphere continued on board, young people from different countries created colourful moments with their music and dances. H. Gürhan Ozanoğlu, Co-President of FIDAF and Vice Chairman of the Festival Committee, who accompanied the culture and art ambassadors throughout the Bosphorus tour, personally attended to the guests and joined the young participants as they sang and danced during the journey. Following the Bosphorus tour, the festival guests arrived at Anadolu Kavağı, where they were served traditional fish sandwiches.
